exploring the divine II 27×27 acrylics
A31exploring the divine II 27x27acryllics on canvas, 70,000
This is inspired by the stone sculptures of the ancient civilization of Vijayanagar, now Hampi
An entire kingdom built of stone found around. Humans are aesthetically inclined since the beginning. That is what sets us apart. Our imagination and creativity is what make us who we are!
God is the central force I felt of this place , temples of different gods with different powers sprinkled all around and the markets and homes built around them.
Religion was the glue of this kingdom I felt.
The women painted represent me in the present trying to imagine how it must be back then!
